Rumi’s Profound Wisdom
In the 13th century (723 – 822 years ago!!!), Rumi penned a profound statement. It continues to resonate with us today.
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
I recently came across a quote that resonated deeply with me, and I believe it can serve as a guiding principle for our mission at TurnerNet. It’s perfectly synonymous with our tagline, ‘Empowering Wisdom, Igniting Courage.’ I hope you find as much inspiration in it as I did.
The Power of Wisdom
Rumi’s wisdom underscores an important idea. True change begins within. It’s easy to believe that cleverness alone can effect meaningful change. Quick solutions and flashy ideas often lure us. But Rumi challenges this notion. He suggests that wisdom, not cleverness, is the key to lasting transformation.

Wisdom is the understanding that impactful changes start with ourselves. It’s about recognizing our potential for growth. It’s about understanding the power we hold to shape our destiny.
