Facing the Future with Fearless Determination
In a world that’s rapidly advancing towards a future dominated by artificial intelligence and high-tech innovations, it’s easy to feel a sense of alert and surrealism. But as we stand on the precipice of this new era, it’s important to remember the words of Ambrose Redmoon:
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.”
This quote serves as a guiding principle for our journey into the future. It’s not about being fearless, but about recognizing that there are things – our values, our humanity, our faith – that are more important than our fears. It’s about making the decision to carry these things with us as we step into the unknown. To illustrate this concept, I’ve created a graphic which you can see above and as the featured title image of the post which depicts a young man standing at the start of a futuristic bridge that spans a massive river in a stormy alien scene. The other end of the bridge disappears into a storm, hinting at a high-tech, AI-driven future. This image is about empowering ourselves with the wisdom to recognize what’s truly important, and igniting the courage within us to face our fears and move forward.
